SINGAPORE: Bloomberg and its journalist have not appealed against Senior Minister K Shanmugam and Minister for Trade and Industry (Energy and Industry) Tan See Leng's successful defamation suit against them.
The deadline for appeal passed two days ago, said Mr Shanmugam in a Facebook post on Saturday, adding that no appeal was filed by the news outlet.
Bloomberg declined to comment when CNA asked why it did not appeal, how it intended to split the amount owed with its reporter and if it had made payment.
