NLCS: Jackson Chourio sucks life out of Dodger Stadium with first-pitch home run off Blake Snell to spark Brewers' Game 3 win
The Milwaukee Brewers defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers 6-2 in Game 3 of the NLCS, taking a 3-0 series lead. Jackson Chourio led the offense with a first-pitch home run off Blake Snell.
Why it matters
The Brewers are now one win away from the World Series, putting the Dodgers in a historically difficult position to recover.
Well, that was a buzzkill for Dodgers fans.
With the Brewers holding a 2-0 lead in the National League Championship Series, the Dodgers were hoping some home-cooking could right the ship with the series shifting to Los Angeles on Wednesday.
That's Brewers leadoff hitter Jackson Chourio hitting a leadoff home run against two-time Cy Young Award winner Blake Snell on the first pitch of the game for a quick 1-0 Milwaukee lead. Snell left a fastball over the heart of the plate, and Chourio made him pay.

The fans who'd beaten Los Angeles traffic to show up for the 5 p.m. local start barely had time to get settled in their seats before the air was sucked out of Dodger Stadium.
