NLC India Limited (NLCIL) on Saturday handed over four electric vehicles to the Auroville Foundation under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, with an outlay of ₹21 lakh.

According to a press note, the vehicles were dedicated for facilitating sustainable internal transit for both Auroville residents and visiting guests.

Auroville Foundation secretary Jayanti S. Ravi, NLCIL director Suresh Chandra Suman, Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament S. Selvaganabathy, and Director of Sri Aurobindo Centre for Advanced Research (SACAR) V. Ananda Reddy were present.
