Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday has cancelled the scheduled release of her movie, Egusi Ogbono, following the sudden death of actor Chijioke Temidayo Nwokafor, popularly known as Cjay.
The movie was billed to drop at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, September 30, but the actress pulled the release after Cjay was confirmed dead at a hospital.
A devastated Nkechi announced the actor’s death in an emotional Instagram video shortly after visiting the hospital.
In the video, the actress broke down in tears as she mourned Cjay and disclosed that Egusi Ogbono would no longer be released as planned.
