NIT-T, C-DAC to hold free faculty upgradation programme
NIT-T and C-DAC are collaborating to host a five-day faculty upgradation programme on cyber forensics. The initiative aims to train engineering faculty from Tier-II and Tier-III institutions on emerging security technologies.

The Departments of Instrumentation and Control Engineering and Computer Science and Engineering, at the National Institute of Technology – Tiruchi (NIT-T), will be organising a five-day faculty upgradation programme (FUP) in association with the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), Thiruvananthapuram, from August 3 to 7.
According to a press release, the FUP will be conducted at NIT-T on the theme ‘NextGen Cyber Forensics Tools and Technologies.’ It is designed to empower faculty members—particularly from Tier-II and Tier-III engineering institutions—to effectively teach emerging cyber forensics concepts, mentor student projects, and undertake impactful research in this domain.
