NIRL receives Letter of Intent from GUVNL for 900 MW solar power project
NLC India Renewables Limited (NIRL) has secured a Letter of Intent from Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited to develop a 900 MW solar power project. This project is part of NIRL's strategic goal to expand its renewable energy capacity to over 10 GW by 2030.

NLC India Renewables Limited (NIRL), a wholly owned subsidiary of NLC India Limited (NLCIL), has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) from Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) for setting up a 900 MW solar power project in the State.
According to NLCIL, the project has been awarded through a tariff-based competitive bidding process, with the power generated to be procured by GUVNL. The latest addition not only builds on NIRL’s renewable energy portfolio, but also reinforces its commitment to becoming a 10+ GW renewable energy company by 2030.
