Nine people injured in eight traffic accidents across Estonia in one day

TALLINN - Eight serious traffic accidents occurred in Estonia on Thursday, injuring a total of nine people. Three of the incidents involved e-scooters.
The first accident occurred at 8:15 a.m. in Tallinn at the intersection of V na Street and P rnu Highway, where a 60-year-old woman driving a Kia Sportage made a left turn and hit an eight-year-old boy who was crossing the road on a scooter at a crosswalk. The child was taken to the hospital, the Police and Border Guard Board informed BNS.
The second accident took place at 1:40 p.m. on S pruse Avenue in Tallinn, where a 17-year-old youth riding an electric scooter lost control of the vehicle and fell. The young man was transported to the hospital.
