Gunmen suspected to be spiritualists have killed a yet-to-be identified abducted young woman and dumped her corpse in a stream, after removing parts of her body.
The woman was abducted from Ahoada Minta in Ahoada East Local Government Area of Rivers State and taken to Ogoda community in the neighbouring Ahoada West Local Government.
According to the residents of the area, the deceased was abducted on September 12 and her body was recovered following a rescue mission led by the chairman of Ahoada West, Mr. Eugene Epelle, along with security operatives, in the Ogoda Community.
Giving an account of how the body was discovered, the Traditional Ruler of Ogoda Community, Chief Obutu Tom, said he first received information about the incident while in Port Harcourt, saying he had to cut short his stay and immediately reported the matter to the police.
