Leeds United defender Nico Elvedi played all 90 minutes as Switzerland beat North Macedonia 3-0 on Saturday.

The 29-year-old joined the Whites from Borussia Monchengladbach in August and has already settled well into Daniel Farke's backline at Elland Road.

In his first five appearances for the Whites, the Yorkshire giants have conceded just four goals with Elvedi on the pitch, keeping a clean sheet in their final league game before the international break against Crystal Palace .

And he was shutting out opposing attackers again on Saturday as Switzerland opened their Nations League campaign with a routine 3-0 win away in Skopje.
