Newspaper agents seek space inside new bus terminal

The Puducherry Newspaper Agents Association has requested the government to allocate proper space for them inside the newly-constructed bus stand for sorting and distribution of newspapers during early morning hours.
The representatives of the association have met Chief Minister N. Rangasamy and Pondicherry Municipality Commissioner K. P. Sreejith seeking allotment of space inside the new terminal. After getting printed, the newspapers in bundles are transported to the bus stand area before being distributed to vendors in different places in Puducherry. Before construction of the new bus terminal, the agents used the premises for sorting the bundles, they said.
