New luggage scanner installed at Tiruchi Junction to strengthen security
Tiruchi Railway Junction has installed a new luggage scanner and door frame metal detector at Entry Gate No. 2 to enhance passenger security. Local police and railway officials inspected the site to ensure the new equipment is effectively integrated into the station's safety protocols.

A new luggage scanner and a door frame metal detector have been installed by the Government Railway Police at Entry Gate No. 2 the Tiruchi Railway Junction in an effort to strengthen security.
Adarsh Pachera, Superintendent of Police, Government Railway Police, commissioned the new scanner and the door frame metal detector machine. Prashant Yadav, Senior Divisional Security Commissioner, Railway Protection Force, Tiruchi, was present.
The luggage scanner has been deployed to check the baggage of passengers as Tiruchi Junction witnesses movement of several express and superfast trains besides passenger services every day.
