Sunshine will dominate the coming week, following the driest July on record, as temperatures on most days hover in the mid to late twenties with no sign of cloudy weather.

However, things will warm up on Sunday before peaking on Monday, when temperatures could reach 32C according to the Met Office.

The UKHSA’s health alert is in place from 9am on Sunday until 9am on Thursday, August 5.

A Met forecast on Saturday predicted highs of 28C on Sunday, 32C on Monday, and 28C on Tuesday.
