A new leak of the highly anticipated game Grand Theft Auto VI has surfaced, featuring 25 minutes of footage including NSFW content. The leak appears to utilize developer tools to showcase character models and gameplay mechanics.
Why it matters
High-profile leaks of major entertainment products pose significant security and marketing challenges for developers like Rockstar Games.
We thought we were done with notorious Grand Theft Auto VI leaker known only as Cyberleek, but we were proven wrong on Thursday with a fresh GTA 6 leak. The still-anonymous leaker (or group of leakers) posted their first update since late August, in the form of a nearly 25-minute-long video that's easy enough to find on social media. It's our most detailed look yet at the hotly anticipated game from Rockstar, at least outside of the official "Extended Look" that aired on Netflix in August. If you manage to find the video, be warned: Major portions of it are strictly not safe for work. It includes a lot of footage of Jason, the male protagonist, walking around completely nude, and everything is modeled in full detail.
