New computational method pushes cryo-electron microscopy beyond traditional resolution limits

Researchers have developed a computational method called Post-Acquisition Super Resolution (PASR) to improve the resolution of cryo-electron microscopy images. By subdividing pixels before motion correction, the method allows scientists to bypass traditional physical limits in structural biology.
