<p>Say goodbye to Lake Ontario on Apple Maps. Well, its name, anyway. Apple has implemented President Trump's controversial executive order renaming the body of water to Lake America.</p><p>Bloomberg's Mark Gurman broke the news, <a href="https://x.com/markgurman/status/2094885441891672141" target="_blank" title="(Opens in a new tab)">tweeting</a> that the "change is rolling out now." If you search for Lake Ontario on the US version of Apple Maps, you should be redirected to a new entry labeled "Lake America." That said, the actual geographic map still displayed the old name when we queried it on Tuesday afternoon.</p><p>According to Gurman, Apple will still display Lake Ontario for users in Canada. Outside the US and Canada, people will see both names.
