Neurosurgeon trapped, burnt alive after car slams into divider, bursts into flames

HYDERABAD: A neurosurgeon from Khammam was charred to death after the car he was driving hit a road divider and caught fire on NH-365BB near Pillalamarri in Suryapet district on Sunday morning.The accident occurred around 7.15am when Dr K Jagadeesh Babu was travelling from Khammam to Hyderabad, where his family resides.According to Khammam Rural CI G Rajashekar, police suspect that lack of sleep may have caused him to lose control of the car and hit the divider.“Soon after the car hit the divider, it caught fire and was completely gutted. Jagadeesh was charred to death,” Rajashekar said.The fire engulfed the vehicle within minutes, leaving the victim trapped inside. Police reached the spot after receiving information about the accident and began an investigation.
