Netanyahu Calls For Comprehensive Investigation Into “NAZA” Film Participants

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has called for a formal investigation into the creators of the documentary 'NAZA,' which alleges misconduct by the IDF in Gaza. The film, which features anonymous testimonies regarding AI-driven targeting, has been condemned by Israeli officials as biased and damaging to national security.
Why it matters
This highlights the ongoing tension between artistic freedom, military transparency, and the legal implications of whistleblowing regarding wartime conduct.
Prime Minister Netanyahu called Sunday evening on the IDF chief of staff, the head of the Shin Bet and the attorney general to launch a comprehensive investigation into participants in the documentary “NAZA.”
Netanyahu urged the authorities to prosecute those involved for alleged serious information security offenses, criminal libel and harm to Israel’s diplomatic and security interests.
“The film spins a false, misleading, and biased narrative that slanders the State of Israel and the IDF globally and severely damages Israel’s standing,” Netanyahu said.
