Nepal floods: six with roots in Keralam still remain missing
Six individuals with roots in Kerala remain missing following catastrophic floods in Nepal that killed over 1,000 people. Authorities are coordinating with the Indian Embassy to facilitate DNA matching and the repatriation of bodies for those identified.

A week after the disastrous floods in Nepal that claimed over a 1,000 lives, six people having family roots in Keralam are still reported missing. According to the NoRKA Roots, a total of 52 people had registered for help with its help desk in the wake of the disaster.
Of them, 44 have returned home, while one remains safely in Nepal. Another person will return home on Friday. However, six people who registered with the help desk have not contacted the authorities. The six include four with Australian citizenship, a British citizen, and Krishnakumar Raghavan, 59, an American citizen, whose relatives registered with the help desk. It was reported that they were on the China-Nepal border when the disaster struck.
