PETALING JAYA: A daughter is desperately searching for her mother, who has been uncontactable since Wednesday (Aug 26) after travelling to Nepal for the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra pilgrimage.
According to Dharaniya Rajan, she was last in contact with her mother, S. Gomathi, at 8.59am (Malaysia time) on Aug 26.
She said her mother had also told her about a landslide and that their group was moving earlier towards the Tibet/China border.
“The latest information we have is a photo taken at around 10am (Malaysia time) on Aug 26 at the Nepal-Tibet/China immigration checkpoint/building.
“The last traceable locations of some of the group members’ phones were also around the same area.
