The Nepal Army rescued a Chinese national alive from a hydropower tunnel on Saturday, 10 days after floods hit the Himalayan nation's Nuwakot town.“Rescue of foreign national alive from surang of Apar Trishuli,” the Nepal Army posted on X, referring to the Trishuli Hydropower Station in Nuwakot. The post also included a visual of him being brought out of the tunnel.The man was pulled alive from a 225-metre tunnel (about 738 feet) and is undergoing a health assessment.
