Nepal floods: At least 13 people from Karnataka yet to be traced, says CM
Karnataka Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar announced that 13 residents remain untraced following severe floods in Nepal. The state government is coordinating with the Ministry of External Affairs and Indian missions to facilitate search and rescue operations for the missing individuals.

At least 13 people stranded in Nepal following floods are yet to be traced, while the remaining had been accounted for, Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar said on Monday.
“My officials have been in touch with those who have been traced, and some of them have also spoken to the people concerned,” he said.
The State government officials said that Mr. Shivakumar and Deputy Chief Minister and Revenue Minister G. Parameshwara are in constant touch with the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) and the Resident Commissioner at Karnataka Bhavan in New Delhi to facilitate the safe return of those from the State.
The Resident Commissioner has constituted dedicated teams to track the situation and coordinate with authorities.
