Nepal flash floods: Karnataka sets helpline desk to assist stranded people and their families
The Karnataka Revenue Department has established a dedicated helpline and emergency center to assist citizens from the state who are stranded following severe flash floods in Nepal. Officials are coordinating with the Ministry of External Affairs and the Indian Embassy to facilitate rescue efforts for those affected by the disaster near the Nepal-Tibet border.

Following the flash floods in Nepal and related disruptions along the Nepal-Tibet border, the Karnataka Revenue department has set up a helpline or State Emergency Operation Centre to collect information and assist people from Karnataka who might be currently stranded in Nepal.
The department has shared a link of Google document and requested the tour operators, family members or even stranded persons to provide information through this document so that they can be contacted for rescue.
The officials stated that their department is coordinating with the Ministry of External Affairs through Embassy of India in Nepal and in Beijing.
