Hyderabad: The Nehru Zoological Park on Sunday celebrated World Lion Day, highlighting the importance of one of the world’s most majestic big cats and emphasising protection of both the Asiatic Lions and African Lions.
Marking the day, animal keeper talk shows were conducted with the animal caretakers giving a brief lecture on the daily activities they conduct, behaviour of the animals, daily feed and vaccination schedule, and breeding programmes.
