Negri polls: BN promises 50,000 new jobs if given the mandate
Barisan Nasional has pledged to create 50,000 jobs in Negri Sembilan if they win the upcoming state polls on August 1. The promise includes developing a Halal Industry Park and attracting foreign investment in medical manufacturing.

SEREMBAN: Barisan Nasional pledges to bring 50,000 new jobs to Negri Sembilan if given the mandate in the Aug 1 state polls, says Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.
The Barisan chairman said its manifesto, to be unveiled this week, would also have more pledges for the benefit of the people compared to those announced by its rivals.
"I still consider ourselves the underdog but wherever I go, voters tell me they miss Barisan very much.
"So, since we are sorely missed, we will do our best and Insya'Allah, you will have a new government in Negri Sembilan on Aug 1," he told reporters after presenting excellent service awards to Kemas employees in Kg Pantai near here on Tuesday (July 21).
Asked if the pledge to create 50,000 new jobs was realistic, Ahmad Zahid said it was possible as the state had a lot of potential to attract new investors.
