NEET pass percentage improves in Puducherry
The NEET pass percentage in Puducherry improved slightly to 51.97% in 2026 compared to the previous year. Despite the improved success rate, the total number of students appearing for the exam saw a decline.

The pass percentage has improved for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test ( NEET) in the Union Territory. Of the total 4,716 students who appeared for the exam, 2,451 have qualified, a 51.972% success rate.
The success rate is around 0.72% more compared to the 2025 NEET results. In the examination conducted last year, of the 5,149 students who appeared, only 2,639 had qualified.
However, there had been a dip in the number of students who registered for the exam and actually appeared for it this year. While 5,266 students had registered for NEET in 2025, 5,149 of them appeared. But in 2026, only 4,716 students appeared for the examination of the total 5,402 candidates.
