NDF retirees to gather for Fellowship Day in Rundu
Retired members of the Namibian Defence Force (NDF) from the Kavango regions are gathering in Rundu for the third annual Fellowship Day. The event, hosted by the Defence Force Foundation, aims to foster camaraderie and support the welfare of former and serving military personnel.

RETIRED members of the Namibian Defence Force (NDF) from the Kavango East and Kavango West regions are set to gather in Rundu on Saturday, 3 October 2026, for the third Fellowship Day hosted by the Defence Force Foundation (DFF).
The event will take place at the DR Romanus Sports Field in Rundu, Kavango East, bringing together serving and former soldiers to reconnect, share experiences, network and strengthen bonds formed through military service.
The DFF said the Fellowship Day is a social and fellowship event that promotes continued camaraderie among NDF members beyond active duty, while also providing an opportunity to exchange ideas, discuss common interests and support the welfare of former and serving members.
The event will be held under the theme, “Honouring the Past, Celebrating the Present and Inspiring the Future.”
