Why it matters
Electoral administrative issues can lead to political instability and voter disenfranchisement, making the resolution of such errors critical for democratic processes.
The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has urged its supporters to remain calm following the omission of its Cross River governorship candidate from the list released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The party attributed the omission to a bureaucratic error, expressing confidence that it would be resolved soon.
