You know it is a wild summer when LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo have changed teams, and now we've got Stephen Curry finding himself wrapped up in the NBA trade rumor mill. Well, maybe.
There is skepticism around the NBA, of course, that the Warriors would ever actually consider trading Curry, and there is equal skepticism that Curry would ever ask for a trade out of Golden State, the franchise that he almost single-handedly turned around during his 18-year tenure.
But after the Warriors missed out on LeBron James and made few changes this offseason--with Jimmy Butler and Moses Moody expected to miss at least three months of the upcoming season--speculation has crept in that Curry is not exactly happy with the state of affairs. The Warriors will likely be a mediocre team in the West, and that's if both Butler and Moody return in January.
