NBA PRESEASON DISCUSSION: Brooklyn Nets at Washington Wizards, 7:00 PM ET
The Brooklyn Nets and Washington Wizards are preparing for a preseason matchup, with both teams entering the game with 2-0 records. The game features high anticipation for the debut of Nets player Mikel Brown Jr. and the performance of Wizards rookie AJ Dybantsa.
Why it matters
Preseason games allow teams to integrate new talent and build momentum ahead of the official NBA regular season.
The Nets are feeling good in the early days of preseason. They defeated the Charlotte Hornets by 34 to kick things off and followed up with a 114-108 victory against LeBron James and the new-look 76ers. Take it for whatever it's worth at this stage, but Nets fans will take what they can get.
