A natural lifestyle, healthy food, clean water, pure air and adequate rest are essential to maintaining good health, said renowned naturopathy expert Manthena Satyanarayana Raju on Sunday.

Addressing an awareness meeting titled ‘Health protection through Yoga and naturopathy’ jointly by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) and the Department of AYUSH Dr. Raju listed out the health problems arising due to the lack of physical activity and inadequate rest.

He also spoke about changing food habits and the introduction of new ingredients into diets, and their impact on the human body. Preventive care can help one stay away from several lifestyle-related health problems”, he asserted.
