National Testing Agency issues call for onboarding subject experts, translators in overhaul bid

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is inviting applications from experienced educators, researchers and academicians for the empanelment of subject matter experts and translation reviewers as a part of it’s overhaul following the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak controversy.

The NTA has removed 600 subject matter experts including external, contracted, and panel-based subject matter specialists who were responsible for creating question papers, translating content, and conducting psychometric reviews, after it was found that certain experts and translators were compromised and responsible for the paper leak. They are now being completely replaced by a new cohort of onboarded specialists.

The agency has stated that experts can submit their Expressions of Interest on the NTA portal till October 9.
