National Television Awards 2026 winners

The 2026 National Television Awards in London celebrated winners across various categories, with 'Clarkson's Farm' and 'Gogglebox' among the notable recipients. The ceremony also featured a historic all-female shortlist for the drama performance category.
Why it matters
The NTAs reflect current trends in British television consumption and public sentiment toward popular media.
It's that time of year, with the National Television Awards now having been handed out at a starry ceremony in London.
Hosted once more by Joel Dommett, the ceremony took place at the O2, with winners chosen by public vote as usual.
Amongst some of the big winners on the night were Clarkson's Farm , Call the Midwife , Emmerdale and Alan Carr , with the latter being presented with a Special Recognition award.
Perhaps the biggest story from this year going into the ceremony was that the drama performance category featured an all-female line-up for the first time, featuring Sheridan Smith for I Fought the Law , Vicky McClure for Trigger Point , Ella Bruccoleri for The Other Bennet Sister , Judy Parfitt for Call the Midwife and Ruth Jones for Run Away . That award was ultimately won by McClure.
