NASA SpaceX Crew-13 Mission Launch

Copy link Four astronauts are getting ready to leave Earth for the International Space Station (ISS) as NASA and SpaceX prepare for the next crew rotation mission. Crew-13 is currently targeted to launch on October 1, 2026, at 11:10 a.m. EDT (8:40 p.m. IST) from Florida.

The astronauts will travel aboard a SpaceX Dragon spacecraft, launched by a Falcon 9 rocket from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. Teams are now carrying out final checks of the crew, spacecraft, rocket, and ISS before launch.

NASA and SpaceX are targeting October 1 for Crew-13's launch. If everything remains on schedule, Falcon 9 will lift off from Cape Canaveral in Florida. The four astronauts entered routine pre-launch quarantine at NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston on September 17. The quarantine is meant to reduce the risk of illness before the mission.
