Napoli goalscorer Gilmour on Landucci celebration: ‘We worked on it in training’

Billy Gilmour 's first goal of the season gave Napoli the lead at the Franchi, in what would finish a 1-1 draw , and the celebration told its own story: the Scottish midfielder and much of the squad ran to the touchline to embrace Max Allegri's assistant, Marco Landucci.

The finish itself was excellent, Matteo Politano 's corner from the left, Gilmour arriving unmarked to guide a volley into the bottom corner, but the movement had been rehearsed.

"We worked on it in the training pitch to take chances like this and it worked well, so I went to thank the squad and the backroom team," Gilmour told DAZN Italia .
