Naomi Osaka bought LA home for $6.3m, sold it back for $7.95m; now asks $8.2m

Professional singer Nick Lachey and television host Vanessa Lachey have put their former Los Angeles estate back on the market for nearly $8.2 million, completing an unusual real estate cycle involving four-time Grand Slam tennis champion Naomi Osaka. The 6,855-square-foot Tarzana mansion, in the San Fernando Valley, was originally owned by the Lacheys. They sold it to Osaka in 2022 for $6.3 million. Three years later, after moving back to California, the couple bought the property back from the tennis star for $7.95 million. While she owned the home, Osaka added several high-end fitness features. These included a separate 800-square-foot fitness center and a recovery suite with a sauna, steam room, cold plunge tub, and massage area. According to real estate reports from Mansion Global and Architectural Digest, the Lacheys have now listed the upgraded Cape Cod-style estate with The Agency agents Mauricio Umansky and Craig Knizek.
