Nanoparticle exsolution opens a new route to functional oxide electronics and spintronics

Researchers at POSTECH and KENTECH have developed a method called exsolution to control the electronic and magnetic properties of oxide thin films. By migrating metal ions to the surface as nanoparticles, they can create more stable materials for energy and electronic applications.
