Nandyal school alumni honour teachers with unique chariot celebration
Alumni of Sri Ramakrishna Vidyalayam in Nandyal celebrated Teachers' Day by honoring their educators with a traditional chariot procession. The event aimed to symbolize the role of teachers as guides through the journey of life.

Nearly 750 alumni from various batches of Sri Ramakrishna Vidyalayam, Nandyal, gathered on the occasion of the Teachers Day celebrations to honour teachers on Saturday. The teachers were seated on a chariot as students and well-wishers pulled it through the streets using ropes. “This was done to convey the message that teachers are the charioteers who guide students through the journey of life,” the organisers said.
