Ms. Shabari on Wednesday (September 16, 2026) inaugurated a conference titled ‘Assurance for the Youth’s Future’ at Sri Ramakrishna Degree College in Nandyal. Addressing the gathering of youngsters, she said lasting change, at the State or national level, was possible only through the power of the youth.
Ms. Shabari said she was happy to launch the event in her hometown, Nandyal, among the youth who would shape India’s future. Rayalaseema was once known for severe drought, farmers’ hardships and migration for want of jobs, but the situation had changed, she said. ‘Our region is racing towards development, moving away from its past struggle with drought, and the arrival of industries is completely transforming the face of Rayalaseema,‘ she said.
