Nandyal Collector inaugurates ‘Vanasya Centre’ to promote marketing for women’s natural products

District Collector Rajakumari Ganiya inaugurated ‘Vanasya – The Experience Centre’ at the Collectorate on Monday (September 7, 2026), with an objective to provide better marketing facilities to women for the natural products they create and to strengthen their livelihoods.
Joint Collector Suraj Dhanunjay and officials from various departments, and representatives of women’s groups were present during the inauguration.
Speaking on the occasion, the Collector noted that the centre would serve as an effective platform to promote the various livelihood activities undertaken by women and local communities in rural areas, thereby creating sustainable income opportunities for them. She stated that this Experience Centre was established following the guidelines of Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, with the aim of fostering greater economic growth for women’s groups, small-scale producers, and tribal women by creating dedicated marketing platforms for locally manufactured products.
