Nandi-Ndaitwah to co-chair Africa water investment panel

PRESIDENT Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah will co-chair a high-level event on water investment in Africa in New York on Monday, as part of her programme during the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA81), where Namibia is expected to advance its priorities on water security, investment and international cooperation.

The International High-Level Panel on Water Investments for Africa and Global Cooperation Event, scheduled for 21 September, will focus on mobilising commitments towards the 2026 UN Water Conference and strengthening investment in Africa’s water sector.

Nandi-Ndaitwah has arrived in New York, United States, accompanied by the First Gentleman, Lieutenant General Epaphras Denga Ndaitwah, and the Namibian delegation.

During UNGA81, the President is scheduled to participate in high-level engagements aimed at advancing Namibia’s national interests on key regional and global issues.
