Nandan Nilekani, heading exam reform panel, named in SIR's 'no-mapping’ category
Infosys co-founder Nandan Nilekani, who is currently heading a government task force on examination reforms, and his family members have been named in Election Commission notices generated under the ‘no-mapping’ category, according to Bengaluru South City Corporation officials. The notices were generated because details of their names were not found in the 2002 voter list. It is not clear from the available information whether the notices have been served on Nilekani or his family.BSCC commissioner Ramesh KN said officials would check the records for any discrepancies and resolve them without issuing notices where required.“I am not aware of the status of the notices generated for Nilekani. I will check the details,” he said. The notices were issued as part of the electoral exercise to verify voter details.
