PANAJI: Veteran actor Nana Patekar was "brought dead" to a hospital in Dona Paula, Goa, on Thursday following a suspected cardiac arrest. Dr Shekhar Salkar, the Chief of the Oncology Department at Manipal Hospital, said that the body has been sent to Goa Medical College for post-mortem.According to Salkar, Patekar, who was residing at his Dona Paula residence at the time had sent a message to his friend at around 2:30am saying that he was feeling uncomfortable and that there was "pain on the left side."However, since it was nighttime, his friend could not see the message on time. Salkar shared that by the time the friend went to his house, it was around 4am.“He was gasping and sweating,” Salkar said.
