The Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) has made its “Namma BMTC 2.0” mobile application available on the iOS platform, enabling iPhone users to access digital public transport services.

The app, which was initially launched for Android users, offers facilities such as digital BMTC tickets and bus passes, live bus tracking, a journey planner and digital payment options. It also supports integrated ticketing between BMTC and Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. (BMRCL), allowing passengers to access both bus and Metro services through the digital platform.

Shivakumar during an event marking 100 days of the Congress government in Karnataka recently. “The platform was introduced as part of BMTC’s efforts to make public transport services more convenient, connected and cashless, a release stated.
