Namma 112 alert helps police save woman

According to the police, at 5.36 p.m. on July 19, a passerby alerted the Namma 112 Emergency Helpline, reporting that a woman was attempting to end her life due to alleged family-related issues. The incident occurred near the TMC Office in the jurisdiction of the Vidhana Soudha Police Station.
The emergency control room immediately alerted Hoysala-43 attached to the Commercial Street Police Station. Assistant sub-inspector Umapathi J. and head constable Dundappa T., who were on patrol duty, rushed to the spot and reached within six minutes.
Realising that the woman required urgent medical attention, the police personnel immediately shifted her in an autorickshaw to the nearest hospital, where she received timely treatment.
