Namibia to host Southern Africa's Climate Outlook Forum in Swakopmund

Namibia is set to host the 33rd Southern African Regional Climate Outlook Forum (SARCOF-33) in Swakopmund this August. The event will bring together climate experts to develop consensus seasonal outlooks for the region.

THE 33rd Southern African Regional Climate Outlook Forum (SARCOF-33) will take place in Swakopmund next month.
“Cabinet took note of the request by the Southern African Development Community (SADC) Secretariat for the Republic of Namibia to host the Climate Expert Meeting and the Climate Outlook Forum (SARCOF-33), where Climate Experts from the national meteorological services develop a consensus seasonal climate outlook,” the Deputy Minister of Information and Communication Technology, Wenzel Kavaka, announced.
