THE Namibia Oil and Gas Conference and Exhibition (NOGC) officially kicked off on 18 August 2026, with some of the speakers at the event stating that Namibia has the capability to become a regional energy hub.

The conference, which is taking place from 18–20 August 2026 in Windhoek, is hosted by the Economic Association of Namibia (EAN), in partnership with the Namibia Investment Promotion and Development Board (NIPDB) and the Hanns Seidel Foundation (HSF), with strategic partners the National Petroleum Corporation of Namibia (NAMCOR), SNC Incorporated and Rhino Resources. It is officially endorsed by Namibia’s Ministry of Industries, Mines and Energy. The conference continues to bring together government, industry leaders, investors, academia, entrepreneurs and civil society to shape the future of Namibia’s energy sector.
