Office-bearers of the Nagarampalem village youth association in Madhurawada, Visakhapatnam urged the District Collector, Police Commissioner and Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) Commissioner to protect a community hall from alleged encroachment.
Association president I. Anil Kumar and secretary N. Jyothish submitted a representation at the Collectorate on Monday, stating that the hall, located on government land in Survey No. 64 (part), was originally built with government funds 50 years ago and was later replaced with a permanent structure.
