‘Naa Ramudu, a simplified Ramayanam, book released in Srikakulam
A new book titled 'Naa Ramudu', which offers a simplified version of the Valmiki Ramayanam, was released in Srikakulam. The author, Nikku Appanna, aims to make the ethical values of the epic accessible to the younger generation.
Why it matters
It reflects the ongoing cultural and educational efforts to preserve and transmit traditional values through literature.
Religious scholar and poet Yerrapragada Ramakrishna said that epic Valmiki Ramayanam would continue to make writers to identify new points and present them in a novel way to enable new generation to understand the great values adopted by Lord Rama and Goddess Sita.
He released ‘Naa Ramudu’ book written by academician and executive committee member of Indian Red Cross Society in a programme organised in Srikakulam on Monday.
He lauded Nikku Appana for penning the Ramayanam to enable everyone to understand the ethical values, importance for words of parents, acceptance of people’s opinion in the administration and others.
