Myth of Empires: Throne Season 3: Era of the Shattered Seas will officially launch on September 3, 2026 at 14:00 UTC, with Character Pre-Creation opening on August 31 at 14:00 UTC. Season 3 introduces the brand-new gameplay map Shattered Isles, the new Skyshaker Cannon, new Legendary Warriors, unique Seasonal Talents, and a range of battlefield mechanics and quality-of-life improvements, bringing more strategic options to Guild development and warfare. New Map: Shattered Isles Season 3 introduces the brand-new gameplay map Shattered Isles. Shattered Isles consists of one main island and three medium-sized islands. It is a standalone gameplay map separate from the open world. After reaching the required level, players can enter Shattered Isles to challenge Bosses and earn Season Points. Large Bosses on the map will spawn at random times during designated periods. When multiple Guilds challenge the same Boss, they will be ranked according to their respective damage contribution. The top three Guilds will receive corresponding Season Points. Shattered Isles is divided into a central PvP zone and surrounding PvE zones. Players can construct buildings on the map, but Boundary Markers and Territory Banners cannot be placed, and structures will decay more quickly. When temporarily staying out of combat, players can also park large vehicles in the outer PvE zones to reduce risks while not actively fighting. New Siege Weapon: Skyshaker Cannon The powerful new Skyshaker Cannon is joining the battlefield. The Skyshaker Cannon features a relatively compact design and can be deployed on land within the coverage area of a Boundary Marker or mounted directly onto Battleships. It must be operated manually by players. The Skyshaker Cannon uses two exclusive ammunition types, each designed for different combat situations. Choosing the right ammunition based on battlefield conditions and targets will provide new firepower options for both land-based offense and defense and Battleship combat. Boundary Marker and Defense System Improvements Season 3 introduces several adjustments to Boundary Marker offense and defense, further strengthening base defense. When an enemy enters a certain range of a Boundary Marker, the Boundary Marker will randomly target one enemy every 5 seconds and apply a continuous punishment effect. This mechanic only applies on PvP servers. Respawn rules within Boundary Marker territory will also be adjusted: friendly players will have shorter respawn cooldowns, while enemy players will have longer respawn cooldowns, reducing the impact of repeated solo harassment on Guild development. For resource protection, loot bags dropped within a friendly Boundary Marker area that remain unclaimed for an extended period will be automatically transferred to the Guild Depot for safekeeping. Loot bag redemption rules will remain unchanged. Boundary Markers will also gain a new anti-air defense mechanic targeting Gliders. Each Boundary Marker will have 10 anti-air attacks per day, automatically resetting every 24 hours. Guilds can spend Copper Coins to purchase additional anti-air attacks with no purchase limit. When an enemy player uses a Glider within Boundary Marker territory, the Boundary Marker will automatically consume one anti-air attack and launch an attack. Each enemy Glider user shot down consumes one anti-air attack. In addition, enemy players will no longer be able to deploy Gliders after entering Boundary Marker territory. For defensive structures, Glazed Tile Arrow Towers will gain three new ammunition types: Boiling Silver Whistling Arrows, Poison Whistling Arrows, and Paralyzing Whistling Arrows. The base damage of Arrow Towers will also be increased, providing more tactical options for base defense. Battleship and Vehicle Adjustments Large vehicles will also receive several balance adjustments. The durability of Battleships and Biremes will be increased. Battleship building rules will also be updated to match those of Air Fortresses, meaning structures will no longer be restricted to the stern and players will have greater freedom when planning their deck layouts. The number of Heavy Ballista-type siege weapons that can be mounted on Desert Ships will be adjusted, along with their overall durability. Giant Kongming Lanterns will support dedicated storage cabinets, and their decay rules will be adjusted to match those of Air Fortresses. New Legendary Warriors and Seasonal Progression Season 3 introduces two new Legendary Warriors: Pang Tong and Diao Chan. Pang Tong possesses exclusive abilities related to farming and armor crafting, providing additional support for Guild production and resource development. Diao Chan specializes in ranged combat, offering unique advantages in shooting and attack effects. Season 3 will also introduce five unique Seasonal Talents centered around Apocalypse Orbs, Fury Skills, vehicle combat, survival, and counterattacks, providing more build options for seasonal progression. In addition, Season 3 will introduce creature armor progression, Large Mount Mating, and other creature development features, while further expanding Apocalypse Orb-related gameplay. Profession Skills and Quality-of-Life Improvements In combat, all five professions will receive skill balance adjustments involving skill damage, Stamina consumption, skill effects, and combat pacing. For quality-of-life improvements, the Crafter's Bench repair system will be optimized with a new "Repair Now" function. Glider Stamina consumption, Pandora's Box placement limits, and other features will also be adjusted. More adjustments will be detailed in the official Season 3 update announcement. Season 2 Settlement & Season 3 Schedule Season 2 will end on August 29 at 00:00 UTC, followed by a two-day Season Seal period.
