Mysuru: Judicial Department, MCC join hands for cleanliness drive

The Judicial Department and Mysuru City Corporation collaborated on a cleanliness drive as part of the 'Swachhata Hi Seva' campaign. The event included the unveiling of a new city cleanliness logo and an emphasis on waste management education.

The Judicial Department and Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) jointly conducted a cleanliness drive at the old court complex and the new court complex at Malalawadi in Jayanagar here on Friday as part of the ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ campaign.
The drive was led by Principal District and Sessions Judge B. Jayant Kumar and attended by MCC Commissioner Savitha M.K., district judges, senior civil judges, civil judges and other judicial officers.
Mr. Jayant Kumar unveiled the MCC’s new cleanliness logo, carrying the message ‘Clean Mysuru – Our Pride, Our Priority’. The logo is intended to give a distinct identity to the city’s cleanliness initiatives and create public awareness about hygiene and sanitation, according to the MCC.
Members of the Mysuru Bar Association, including its president S. Lokesh and secretary A.G. Sudheer, court staff, MCC officials and pourakarmikas participated in the drive.
